Favourite Sandwich

Sandwiches are the easiest meal to make and that is why I love them! This is a staple sandwich that I make when i’m hungry and looking to get in my veggies for the day.  I always eat an open-faced sandwich to cut down on the calories. This sandwich would go perfect with a cup of soup as well.

Ingredients:

Buttermilk Multiseed bread  (from Art Is In, Ottawa)

1/2 an avacado

1/2 a tomato

2 inches of cucumber sliced length wise

5 basil leaves

1 slice of swiss cheese

1 minced clove of garlic (optional)

+

1 cup of pear juice diluted with water (from Parma Ravioli, Ottawa)
